Hi my name is Tammi and thank you for visiting my website. I’m a seasoned massage therapist in the field of sports therapy, massage & bodywork.
My passion for massage began when I was first introduced to it as an athlete myself (14+ years as a Martial Artist/Coach with two black belts in two different styles, Marathon Runner and currently training to compete as a Natural Figure Bodybuilding). I found that through my own experience, massage was important to help with my performance maintenance, rehabilitation and injury recovery from overworked muscles, increase relaxation, to improve my sleeping patterns and overall better health so I felt refreshed and recharged and ready to perform at my peak performance.
Throughout my love of sports and wanting to give back, I attended the National Holistic Institute in Emeryville, California where I was trained and obtained my massage certification in 2008 in the following massage modalities Swedish, Deep Tissue, Reflexology, Sports Massage, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point therapy in addition to providing relaxation and stress management therapies as well. Upon my graduation from NHI, I was able to apply my knowledge throughout my career as a Martial Art Coach and traveling with the competition team, working various marathons pre-post race and currently working on my bodybuilding teammates and/or other clients seeking immediate relief from painful conditions and muscle tension.
Since my graduation I have obtained additional certification in First Aid and CPR, Kinesio Taping KT1, KT2 and KT3. In addition to obtaining my Advance Sports Massage Certification.
